Kitchen or bathroom? That’s the choice you’d have to make if you rented this unusual flat.

The studio apartment is being marketed for £1,300 a month and includes a separate bedroom area.

Photos of the listing show a space with large windows and beautiful wooden floors, as well as a stand alone cooker on one wall.

But in between the sink and fridge you’ll find a bath – complete with an overhead shower and rail for a shower curtain, the Mirror reports.

The estate agent is refreshingly open about the strange feature, telling prospective tenants “All you gotta do to call this home is deal with the bathtub situation”.

The white bath almost blends into the wall – and only on closer inspection can you spot the large fridge freezer to the right.

The particulars on the New York apartment read: “Luxuries or weird? Kitchen or bathroom vibes? You decide!

“This is an old school loft apartment in Williamsburg

“Weird but good priced if you don’t care (or do care and wanna be a weirdo).”

It added: “This price for a spacious apartment is rare for the area!”

It's a kitchen - or is it a bathroom?

The listing has been widely shared on social media, with many questioning the decision to put the bath there in the first palce.

Some said it was common in the Big Apple, with older rental properties having the bathroom added to the kitchen.

The studio apartment is in Walton Street, off Union Avenue and Broadway and a stone’s throw from a subway station.

Much smaller apartments with shared communal bathrooms go for between £900 and £1,200 a month on the same listings website.

And although it’s unusual, the agent said the apartment rented quickly in New York’s competitive rental market.

He told the New York Post it was snapped up after just 14 days, and said a new tenant is moving in soon.

Although unusual, the apartment rented quickly, according to the agent.
